JP Morgan Bolsters New York Law Firm Group

JP Morgan Private Wealth Management has boosted its Law Firm Group in New York with the appointment of Robert Rahbari, a banker who was latterly managing director and co-founder of RAS Capital Management, an India-focused fund of funds business.
In his new role, Rahbari will report to Sharon Weinberg, managing director of the bank’s Law Firm Group, which provides wealth management advice to US law firms and attorneys.
While at RAS Capital Management, Rahbari directed multi-manager hedge fund portfolios while leading the manager due diligence, operational, legal, and compliance functions. Prior to this he performed similar duties in his role as director and chief compliance officer at Ferro Capital, the New York-based fund of hedge funds manager.
“Robert possesses a sophisticated combination of financial and legal skills. His expertise will bring immediate value to our team and our clients,” said Weinberg in a statement.
