JP Morgan Appoints Senior Country Officer For Hong Kong

This publication brings latest news of moves and appointments in the Asia-Pacific region.

JP Morgan has appointed Kam Shing Kwang as senior country officer for Hong Kong, this publication has learned. WealthBriefingAsia is seeking to clarify whether Kwang's appointment represents a direct replacement for a predecessor, or involves a new remit.

Kwang will maintain her current responsibility at the private bank after assuming the new role. She has worked with the US-headquartered bank for 17 years; most recently, she was managing director and market manager for Hong Kong, China and sponsors for the Philippines and Thailand of JP Morgan Private Bank.

Prior to joining JP Morgan, Kwang served as the head of private client department (Singapore) for HSBC Asset Management Singapore.

Based in Hong Kong since 2008, she has been responsible for expanding the US private bank’s business presence and client base in Hong Kong.
