JO Hambro Names New Emerging Market Analyst

The UK-based equity boutique is relocating an emerging market analyst to London, and filling the role she vacates in Prague.

JO Hambro Capital Management has appointed Ladislav Sabo to its Prague-based global emerging markets team, replacing Ada Chan, who is moving to a new role within the firm's London office.

As an analyst within the London-based global emerging markets opportunities team, Chan will support fund managers James Syme and Paul Wimborne.

“We have worked with Ada previously at JOHCM, and look forward to her bringing her 16 years' experience of international equity investing to our bottom-up company research,” said Syme.

Sabo, who is currently a risk manager for the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation in Prague, will join JOHCM in early July. There, she will conduct stock analysis for the Prague-based team.

JOHCM, which also has offices in Boston, New York and Singapore, managed £20.1 billion ($29 billion) of long-only equities assets as at 31 March 2016.
