UK-headquartered Charles Russell Speechlys, an international law firm, has set up an office in Hong Kong, representing its first move into the Asia market.
The law firm said it is appointing Richard Grasby, partner, and prominent litigator Jonathan Mok, partner. In addition, Charles Russell Speechlys partner Ashley King Christopher will relocate to Hong Kong.
Explaining the move, the law firm said that Hong Kong is home to over 1,739 regional business headquarters, with household wealth growing to $1.2 trillion in 2016, making it an "ideal location" to work with commercial and family clients across the region.
