International Law Firm Names New Asia-Pacific Boss

This publication brings latest news of appointments in the Asia-Pacific wealth management sector.

International law firm Clifford Chance has appointed Geraint Hughes as the next regional managing partner for its nine-office Asia-Pacific practice, spanning Greater China, North and South East Asia and Australia.

Hughes takes up his new position in September 2016, taking over from Peter Charlton. Charlton will return to the UK having completed his term, spending eight years in the role.

Hughes will relocate to Hong Kong in June. The firm will announce his replacement as office managing partner of Singapore in the coming weeks, it said in a statement.

Hughes has held his current role since 2010.
