Informa Investment Solutions, a subsidiary of Informa, has created an asset allocation, optimization and portfolio simulation tool to meet the needs of investors.

Financial technology provider Informa Investment Solutions has launched a new cloud-based asset allocation service.

Asset Allocator is built around asset modeling and forecasting. It aims to allow advisors, consultants, and plan sponsors to identify the optimal mix of assets based on their client's goals and risk tolerance, using any of over 40,000 supplied indices. It will take into account real-world investment constraints, individual investment styles and asset-class levels, while comparing portfolio allocations along the efficient frontier curve to show the risk/return trade-offs of different asset mixes.

The tool will also estimate the probability of meeting future wealth goals with various portfolios while considering user-defined inputs and cash flows.
