Indosuez Wealth Management Boosts Presence In Southeast Asia

Indosuez Wealth Management, a global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole Group, has appointed senior bankers.
This week, Indosuez Wealth Management has appointed three wealth management experts, including bankers, after establishing new market segments, including Southeast Asia and North Asia.
The appointments include Sandy Chen, managing director, senior banker; Mark Chester Ng, executive director, senior banker and Sarah Lee, director, senior portfolio manager, asset management, the firm said in a statement yesterday.
Chen has nearly 20 years’ experience in wealth management. Before joining Indosuez, she was senior vice president at UOB Private Banking where she managed ultra-high net worth clients in Singapore and China.
With extensive experience in private wealth allocation and family trust inheritance, her clients include well-known entrepreneurs plus other ultra-high net worth individuals, the firm continued.
Chester Ng has 28 years of banking experience. He spent 13 years at Citibank, where he began his banking career and was with Citibank Private Client before moving into private banking in 2008.
Prior to Indosuez, he was at J Safra Sarasin where he expanded the ultra-high net worth segment targeted at entrepreneurs, business owners and their families in Southeast Asia, the firm said.
They report to Ong Yeng Fang, global market head, Southeast Asia who was appointed in September 2022 to lead the Southeast Asia market segment.
Lee, who has close to 18 years of investment experience in the private banking sector, is part of the asset management team. Before Indosuez, she was at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, where she led the global equities portfolio focusing on thematic and sustainable mandates. She also supported staff in tailor-made solutions for multi-asset portfolios and equity portfolios.
