Glasgow-headquartered Ignis Asset Management has appointed James Senior to head of marketing.

Senior has been with Ignis since November 2008, most recently holding the title of deputy head of marketing before his appointment to head of marketing.  Prior to this, Senior was head of marketing communication for New Star Asset Management.

Senior will be joined by Graham Miller who has been promoted to the role of deputy head of marketing.  Combined, the two bring over 30 years’ experience in senior financial services marketing roles to Ignis.

A spokesperson from the firm told WealthBriefing, that former head of marketing Rob Page has left the firm and is joining former colleagues Jeremy Lang and William Pattisson at Ardevora Asset Management.

In the past month, Ignis has launched an emerging market select value fund as well as an absolute return government bond fund.
