Huntington Continues To Expand Client Services, Launches New Family Office

Huntington National Bank, which as reported by this publication recently is boosting its private client services, has announced it is expanding its investment banking services by opening a new family office in the Columbus market, as part of its expansion strategy announced in 2009.

The new office located in Ohio, within the company's headquarters, brings together a team of financial planners, investment managers, trust officers, private bankers, charitable foundation experts, and estate-planning attorneys.

The new approach is designed to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of financial management for each client by eliminating the need to consult a complicating number of independent advisors, said Herb Chen, Huntington FO region manager.

The team at the new office includes: Herb Chen, Sandra Blanton, estate settlement officer; Donna Buckley, senior charitable endowments and foundations officer; Adonis Caneris, senior financial planner; Brenda Dean, senior trust officer; Kathy Houck, senior private banker; Lisa Lynch, charitable endowments and foundations officer and Jennifer Parker Jefferies, senior financial planner

Earlier this week, the firm said it has ramped up its private banking offering with the launch of three new Private Financial Group offices in northwest Pennsylvania and the addition of new staff in Pittsburgh.
