Hong Kong-Based Investment House Adopts Charles River Solution

A large Asian investment house has signed up to an investment management solution provided by fintech house Charles River.

Fintech firm Charles River has signed Hong Kong-based investment house Value Partners Group to use its portfolio management, trading and performance measurement attribution service.

The Asian firm chose the Charles River Investment Management Solution, which gives users a single, integrated platform to support investment management activities across the firm's equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and derivatives operations.

Value Partners will also use Charles River's day-to-day application management, compliance rule advisory service, and the broker-neutral Charles River Network for global electronic trading via FIX.

Value Partners oversaw $12.9 billion as of 31 December last year and was founded in 1993; besides its Hong Kong headquarters, it also operates in Shanghai, Beijing, Taiwan, Singapore and Chengdu.

Charles River, meanwhile, serves more than 350 investment firms in 44 countries in the institutional asset and fund management, private wealth, alternative investments, insurance, banking, and pension markets.
