Hong Kong's Convoy Completes Securities Firm Acquisition

Convoy Financial Holdings, the Hong Kong-based independent financial advisor firm, has completed its acquisition of securities firm Cheer Pearl Investment, it announced yesterday.

As part of the move, the acquired business will be renamed as Convoy Securities, it provides services including securities trading, share placement arrangement, margin financing and IPO subscription, to individual and institutional investors alike. 

Convoy Securities has relocated to Nan Fung Tower, 88 Connaught Road Central. 

Earlier this month, Convoy appointed Ng Wing Fai as executive director and group president, a newly-created role. Ng’s directorship is for a three-year term.
