Homrich Berg Makes Raft Of Promotions

Homrich Berg, the independent wealth management firm based in Atlanta, GA, has made three promotions, appointing a director and two senior associates.

Stephanie Lang, who currently manages Homrich’s investment department, has been named director while Christopher Kowal and John Taylor have been appointed as senior associates, the firm said.

Lang joined Homrich in 2005 after having spent over two years as a portfolio manager for Bank of America's private bank. Before that, she was an equity research associate at Robinson Humphrey and has a 15-year background in investments.

Kowal, who is a certified financial planner, started at Homrich in November 2006 following an internship with the firm. Taylor joined in October 2007 after working at Greene Financial Center as a portfolio analyst.

In other recent news, the firm announced it was moving its $2.2 billion wealth management practice from Advent's Axys to the Black Diamond platform in January.

Homrich was founded in 1989 and manages some $2.3 billion assets for around 700 client relationships.
