Herbert Smith Freehills Makes Senior China-Focused Promotion In Hong Kong

This publication brings latest news of moves and appointments in the Asian wealth management sector.

Herbert Smith Freehills' private wealth practice has promoted one of its Hong Kong-based lawyers to a China-focused role.

Joanna Caen has been made head of private wealth for China; she has recently been admitted to practice in Hong Kong and will shortly take on the title of senior consultant, the firm said.

Prior to joining the firm in early 2015, Caen was formerly head of private client litigation at Simpson Grierson, the New Zealand-based law firm.

Herbert Smith Freehills advises ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, private banks, trust companies and other fiduciaries on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
