Henderson Global Investors Australia, the local subsidiary of London-based Henderson Group, has announced a head of distribution for its newly revamped retail business. 

With immediate effect, Jordan Tang assumes this key role, where he will be responsible for the distribution of investment capabilities across the company's retail channels. The company launched the Henderson Global Equities Fund in 2013 to further expand its global fund business in the country, and Tang's experience will be valuable to this strategy, said the firm in a statement. 

Tang moves from Ausbil Investment Management, where he most recently served as key account manager. Before that, he was the client services and communications manager for Rothschild Australia Asset Management. He brings over ten years of experience to the role. He reports to Matt Gaden, head of distribution for Henderson Australia.

Henderson Global Investors clients include individuals, private banks, third-party distributors, insurance companies, pension funds, government bodies and corporate entities.
