This publication carries latest news on appointments in the global wealth management market.

Allianz Global Investors has appointed Deborah Zurkow, chief investment officer and head of infrastructure debt, to the new role of head of alternatives.

Zurkow joins the firm’s global executive committee as of 1 June, the German-headquartered firm said in a statement yesterday.

Assets under management in the firm's alternatives business were €15.7 billion ($17.5 billion) at the end of the first quarter of 2016, from €7.9 billion when this unit was founded in late 2014.

Zurkow has led the firm's infrastructure debt platform since 2012.

Claus Fintzen will take on Zurkow’s old role and report to her. He joined AllianzGI in 2012 along with Zurkow and three other team members from Trifinium Advisors. He brings 21 years of industry experience to the role.
