Hang Seng Bank Names Greater China Head

Hang Seng Bank has appointed Patrick Chan as head of Greater China, taking effect from 4 January next year. He reports to the bank's vice-chairman and CEO, Rose Lee.
Chan will focus on growing the mainland China and cross-border business of the bank, it said in a statement yesterday.
Chan first joined Hang Seng in 1995 as assistant general manager and head of the financial control division. In 2009, Chan resigned from his position as executive director and chief financial officer of the bank to take up the role of executive director and chief financial officer at Sun Hung Kai Properties.
Founded in 1993, Hang Seng Bank is a principal member of HSBC Group.
