HSBC Insurance (Singapore) Makes Three C-Suite Hires

The organisation says it is continuing a rapid business build-up.
HSBC Insurance (Singapore), part of HSBC, has hired three C-suite senior figures.
Lee Kah Jing is named chief product officer; Kapil Arora is named chief financial officer and Gajan Yogaranandan is appointed as chief risk officer.
Lee Kah Jing has more than 10 years of life insurance experience across areas including analytics, enterprise risk management, product development and actuarial pricing. Lee was most recently head of product actuarial at Sun Life Financial Indonesia. Lee will be responsible for the strategic implementation and execution of new product developments and the management of HSBC Life Singapore’s product suite.
Kapil Arora has worked for more than 15 years in finance and accounts. He joined HSBC Group in 2007 with its insurance JV in India, Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce Life Insurance Co as vice president, business planning and management information. Kapil subsequently joined HSBC Insurance (Hong Kong) in 2014.
Gajan Yogaranandan has worked in the sector for more than 15 years. He joined HSBC Group in 2011 where his last position was global market and credit risk manager. Prior to that, Gajan was the lead market and credit risk manager for HSBC’s Europe insurance business.
In May this year, HSBC Life Singapore changed its business, launching its new brand, expanded its product suite, and widened its distribution channel to include independent financial advisory firms.
