The global audit, tax and advisory firm has made a senior appointment within its private wealth team.

Grant Thornton has hired Ann Marie Reyher in the newly-created role of managing director within its private wealth services practice in Philadelphia.

Reyher was previously private client services senior manager at Ernst and Young where she was in charge of the Philadelphia region.

She has over 20 years' experience in providing wealth and asset management advisory services, including strategies for multi-generational wealth transfer, gift tax, charitable giving strategies, executive compensation, asset protection and wealth preservation.

“In Ann Marie, we welcome an accomplished executive to the firm, someone who has a track record of success delivering private wealth and asset management services,” said Sean Denham, Grant Thornton's Philadelphia office managing partner.
