Global Fund Manager Boosts Business Development Efforts

IFM Investors appoints a director for business development as part of efforts to strengthen its investor-focused approach.
IFM Investors, the global fund management firm based in Australia, has announced the appointment of a director for business development.
In May 2014, Dan Vanden Boom joins the company after serving various senior level positions for 15 years at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. In his new role, he reports to Eddy Schipper, executive director of business development, who moved to Japan at the start of the year to build IFM's Asia offering. He will be based in Melbourne.
IFM Investors is owned by 30 Australian superannuation funds and specialises in infrastructure, debt investments, listed equities and private capital. As at September 2013, the company recorded around $46 billion in assets under management.
IFM was previously called Industry Funds Management until October 2013, when it changed its name to IFM to reflect its "reinforced investor-focused approach."
