Sheffield Haworth continues to expand its coverage in asset and wealth management, investment banking and capital markets in North America.

The executive search firm Sheffield Haworth has brought in Christopher Smailes as an executive director of asset management in New York.

Smailes is latterly of Eban International, a global executive search boutique focused on asset and wealth management, investment banking and capital markets.

At Eban, he worked with global banks and investment firms across London and New York, relocating to Hong Kong in 2008 to oversee asset management.

Smailes started his career in 2002 at FSS, a search boutique serving asset management and investment banking clients in London.
