Germany’s Bankhaus Main Implements Temenos Platform

The German private bank Bankhaus Main has implemented Triple’A Plus, Temenos’ new portfolio management platform, aiming to enhance transparency and client service levels.

Bankhaus Main plans to use Triple’A Plus to combine its individual advisory services with a secure online banking portal to give clients 24/7 access to their portfolio to monitor and evaluate the status and performance of their assets. The portal is also said to enable clients of Bankhaus Main to generate and download detailed performance reports to monitor the success of their investment strategy and wealth manager.

The system aims to enable wealth managers to perform more detailed analysis and evaluations of cash flow, revenue and performance and its implementation aims to meet increased client demand for information and to support the bank’s own business growth, Temenos said.

“It [Triple’A Plus] fulfills not only our current but also our future requirements in wealth management. With the internet portal we are providing our clients prompt and detailed information so that they can evaluate their investment risks better,” said Jost Weil, chief executive of Bankhaus Main Asset Management.

Bankhaus Main is the third firm to implement Triple’ A Plus in Germany, after Ellwanger & Geiger and Evangelische Kreditgenossenschaft.

Last month Temenos unveiled a new version of its core banking software system, T24, along with a new “componentised” edition of the product called T24 Enterprise Java Edition. T24E offers T24 banking functions restructured into discreet components based on the system’s service-orientated architecture, said to allow banks to introduce new functionality in phases in line with their own requirements and upgrade individual components as and when they need to.

Bankhaus Main AG is an independent private bank based in Frankfurt.
