Fosun Wealth Opens Eighth Hong Kong Outlet in Causeway Bay

The sites can be used by clients for in-person meetings about product features and to learn about the firm's digital platform.
The wealth platform, owned by Shanghai-based conglomerate Fosun International, is pairing its expanding branch network with app-based trading and artificial intelligence research tools.
Fosun Wealth International Holdings, aka Fosun Wealth, has opened a wealth centre at 21 Lee Garden Road in Causeway Bay, its eighth physical outlet in Hong Kong.
The centre joins existing sites in Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Sheung Shui, the Avenue of Stars and West Kowloon, among others. Clients can use the outlets for face-to-face guidance on product features and risks, and on using the firm’s digital platform.
Fosun Wealth is wholly owned by Hong Kong-listed Fosun International. Its subsidiaries hold Type 1, 2, 4, 6 and 9 licences from the Securities and Futures Commission and an insurance broker licence from the Insurance Authority. Its brokerage arm, Fosun International Securities, was among the first in Hong Kong to offer virtual asset dealing.
The firm’s main channel is the Fosun Wealth App, which offers Hong Kong and US equities, Northbound trading through Stock Connect, US fractional shares, funds, government and corporate bonds, and structured products. Idle cash can be held in money market funds.
The app includes an artificial intelligence assistant, StarAI, which handles research queries in everyday language and provides stock analysis drawing on market data, financial results and valuations. It also offers fund holdings and risk analysis. For initial public offerings, the app gives AI analysis of issuers and estimates of allotment probability.
Fosun Wealth competes for Hong Kong retail investment business with app-based brokers such as Futu and Tiger Brokers, as well as the wealth arms of the city’s retail banks.
