Former JP Morgan Private Banker Leads US Trust Northeast

US Trust, part of Bank of America's Global Wealth and Investment Management unit, has appointed Raymond Piacentini as Northeast managing director.

Piacentini is a veteran in the wealth management industry and most recently served as managing director for private banking at JP Morgan Chase. Prior to that, he held senior positions at several wealth firms including Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Smith Barney and the Private Bank at The Bank of New York. He also spent 15 years at Dunne & Piacentini where he advised high net worth clients on tax, investment and financial planning. 

In his new role, he will be working with high net worth individuals and families in the Northeast. He reports directly to Ann Limberg, the Northeast division executive for US Trust. 

Over the past two years, US Trust has hired more than 100 wealth management profesisonals to support its client base in the US, the firm said in a statement. It has $308 billion in client assets and employs some 4,000 professionals through its 140 offices in 32 states.
