Former HSBC Taiwan-Focused Banker Joins BNP Paribas WM

The newly appointed figure has worked for more than 14 years in Asian private banking.

A former HSBC senior figure for Taiwan, Eric Kao, has joined BNP Paribas Wealth Management.

Kao holds the role of team head, private banking, this news service can confirm.

With more than 14 years of private banking experience in Asian markets, Kao most recently served as team head at HSBC Global Private Banking (Taipei) and previously held the similar role at UBS (Taipei). He has a background in sales training, strategic account development, and coaching/mentoring. 

Kao, who also revealed his move to BNP Paribas on his Linkedin page, holds a BSc in International Trade & Finance from Fu Jen Catholic University.
