Former Goldman Sachs Manager Joins Citi In Singapore For India-Focused Role

Sumit Puri, a former executive director at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management, has been appointed to the global Indian team of Citi Private Bank in Singapore.

Sumit Puri, a former executive director at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management, has been appointed to the global Indian team of Citi Private Bank in Singapore, this publication can confirm.

His move to Citigroup represents a return to the US-headquartered business. He worked at Goldman from March 2011; at Citi, he had worked there from 2008 for three years, according to his Linkedin profile.

A spokesperson for Citi Private Bank declined to comment on the matter when contacted by this publication.

Puri is a graduate of the Fore School of Management.
