Former Citi Asia Head Joins HK Firm for Major Launch

Primus Financial Holdings, a new global financial services firm to be based in
Hong Kong, has been launched, the company said in a statement.

The management team will be led by Huan Guocang, currently chief executive officer of Primus Pacific Partners, a
Hong Kong based private equity firm, Robert Morse, formerly Citigroup's
Asia institutional clients group chief executive officer and head of global investment banking, and Wing-Fai Ng, currently a managing partner with Primus Pacific Partners. Dr Huan and Mr Morse will be co-chairmen and Mr Ng will be chief executive.

Primus Financial has got under way in
Hong Kong with initial and immediately accessible paid-in capital in excess of $1 billion. The management team plans to build a financial services institution encompassing advisory and wealth management services, insurance, banking and brokerage. Primus Financial will also manage an alternative investments platform.

The trio were colleagues at Salomon Smith Barney and Citigroup in
Hong Kong during the 1990s.
