Focus Financial Partners Adds Former UBS Team In Denver

Focus Financial Partners has helped a team of former UBS employees launch an independent investment advisory firm in Denver, CO.

Focus Financial Partners, the US partnership of wealth management firms, has helped a team of former UBS employees launch an independent investment advisory firm in Denver, CO.

IFM Capital Advisors is run by Timothy Kneen and Clayton Hartman, who managed approximately $1 billion of client assets at UBS.

In its three offices, the new firm will provide investment management and financial planning to institutional, family office and ultra high net worth clients, as well as offering wealth transition services including business succession and philanthropic planning.

Kneen will command the Denver office, while Hartman will run its counterpart in Fort Collins, CO. In South Dakota, former State Senator Tom Dempster has left UBS to head IFM’s Sioux Falls office.

Hartman, Kneen and Dempster, along with their team of 17 former UBS employees, have over 100 years of investment experience.
