GoldFinger was interested to hear about the 8th International Private Banking and Wealth Management Retreat to be held for five days in September at the Grand Hotel Victoria in Interlaken.
Always interested in attending private banking gatherings around the world, GoldFinger attempted to gain a seat at what many see as one of the more prestigious events in the private banking calendar.
But then there was the small matter of cost – nearly $10,000 for the five day course.
The Swiss Finance Institute, which are behind the retreat, have mustered an elite group of speakers. They include Raymond Baer, chairman of Julius Baer; Otto Bruderer, managing partner of Wegelin & Co; Rico Caduff, managing director of Deutsche Bank private wealth management in Asia; Jean Pierre Cuoni, chairman of EFG International; and Patrick Odier, managing partner at Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch.
GoldFinger hears the course is worth every penny – with excellent networking opportunities coupled with insightful thought leadership on the global wealth management market.
Could GoldFinger be invited as a speaker one year – Swiss Finance Institute? Or perhaps as a mystery guest?
