Financial Advisor Network Appoints New CEO

Advisor Group's new chief executive is a former UBS wealth executive.

Advisor Group, a US-based network of independent financial advisors, has appointed Jamie Price as its chief executive.

Price previously worked for Swiss bank UBS as head of its American wealth management advisor group, where he was responsible for North American client-facing businesses, including 7,300 employees and 7,000 advisors.

Additionally, he served as president and chief operating officer of financial services group Prudential Services.

Advisor Group said Price's focus on field management, technology and service, combined with his ability to drive profitable growth for advisors, makes him well-suited to the role.

He will report to the board of directors' executive chairman and previous CEO of the firm, Valerie Brown.

“We know Jamie is the right leader for the future of Advisor Group because he is a long-standing champion of financial advisors and sees how they can turn this moment into a tremendous growth opportunity," Brown said.
