Fiduciary Trust Company International Makes Senior Fixed Income Hire

Fiduciary Trust Company International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of New York-listed Franklin Resources, has appointed Jeffrey MacDonald as a managing director and senior portfolio manager within its fixed income team.
MacDonald will manage fixed income portfolios for individuals, families and institutions. He has over 20 years of experience across all sectors of the global fixed income market, the firm said.
Prior to his appointment, MacDonald was a senior portfolio manager at Cutwater Asset Management, where he oversaw a team that was responsible for some $15 billion in fixed income assets. He also previously co-managed 40 multi-sector portfolios at Hartford Investment Management Company.
In another recent move at Fiduciary Trust, Jim Le Rose was brought in as a managing director and relationship manager at the end of January.
Fiduciary Trust Company International and its subsidiaries have offices in New York, Miami, FL, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Wilmington, DE, London and Hong Kong. The firm is based in San Mateo, CA, and has over $809 billion in assets under management, as at end-January 2013.
