Fidelity Rolls Out New Retail Investor Platform

Fidelity Investments has launched an online platform for retail investors, broker dealers and financial advisors to trade international stocks and exchange foreign currencies.

The new stock-trading platform is being combined with more than 1,200 mutual funds and 250 exchange traded funds with international securities exposure already available.

“With this new offering, individual investors who trade on their own, or those who work with financial professionals, can more easily diversify the equity portions of their portfolios and take advantage of an increasingly global economy,” the US firm said in a statement.

“By combining this new international stock trading platform with the more than 1,200 mutual funds and 250 ETFs with international securities exposure already available, Fidelity now provides one of the industry's most comprehensive suite of international investing options,” it said.
