London’s
Fleming
Family & Partners’ chief investment officer Dan Briggs has
left the
firm.
In a statement, FF&P said that Briggs will not be
replaced and that his responsibilities will be absorbed by head
of investment Arthur
Grigoryants and his portfolio management group, as part of a
recent
restructuring of the investment team.
Briggs, who leaves on good terms with FF&P, will be
taking on a position at another organisation where he will have a
more hands-on
role in investment, the statement said.
A year ago FF&P overhauled its investment approach by
appointing a four-strong portfolio management team led by Arthur
Grigoryants, head of
investment and including head of equities Andrew Hadley Grave,
Dan Axmer, fixed
income and Dan Briggs providing macro input.
With Briggs’ departure, “the group will continue to drive
the investment process,” the statement said.
Briggs joined FF&P in 2010 from Sarasin, where he had
been deputy CIO and head of its multi-asset funds. Prior to this,
Briggs also served at JP Morgan.
FF&P provides wealth planning, asset management, corporate finance, private equity and trust services through its offices in London, Zurich, Vaduz and Guernsey.
