Envestnet has recruited from Charles Schwab to fill a newly-created position at the company focused on strategic relationships.

Victor Bonilla has joined Envestnet | Tamarac as vice president of strategic relationships – a new role at the company.

Bonilla will work to bolster Tamarac's partnerships with custodians and other third parties by driving greater collaboration in the areas of training, integration, marketing and sales, the firm said.

He was most recently a senior team manager responsible for a group of technology and business operations consultants within Charles Schwab Advisor Services. He also served as a senior technology consultant at Schwab, working with RIAs.

Firms with which Tamarac has significant relationships include Fidelity, Schwab, TD Ameritrade, Pershing and Raymond James.

Envestnet | Tamarac's web-based platform for independent RIAs, Advisor® Xi, provides portfolio management, modeling, rebalancing, trading, billing and reporting with a client portal and CRM system.
