Eaton Vance Investment Counsel Expands Team

Eaton Vance Investment Counsel, which is part of Eaton Vance, has made two senior hires.

Eaton Vance Investment Counsel has brought in Lawrence Gingrow as a vice president and director of wealth planning and Matthew Morse as a vice president and director of equity strategy.

Gingrow was previously a director at PRW Wealth Management and a vice president at The Coyle Company, a wealth transfer planning firm. Before entering the wealth management space, he spent eight years as an attorney, most recently at Pierce Atwood, where he designed estate planning strategies for high net worth clients.

Morse, meanwhile, was latterly chief investment officer at Baldwin Brothers and a director of US equities at Crestwood Advisor.

EVIC provides investment and wealth management services to high net worth individuals and families, trusts, charitable organizations and institutions.

As of June 30, 2016, the firm’s 14 investment counselors managed $5.3 billion of client assets.
