The US-headquartered firm has appointed Shantanu Jain as market leader for the NRI business, based in Singapore. He holds the title of managing director.

The move comes after the departure from the post of Sundaar Rumani, this publication understands.

Previously, Jain was an executive director at JP Morgan from January 2014 – April 2017, according to his Linkedin profile. From June 2010 to January 2014 he was a vice president, and prior to this, he was a director at Société Générale, from September 2005 – June 2010. He has also worked at ABN AMRO and McKinsey & Co, the profile shows.
