EXCLUSIVE: Renowned Private Banking House Names New Head For North Asia
A famously-named banking group that is headquartered in London has made a top-level appointment for North Asia.
Rothschild Wealth Management, the firm that is part of the UK arm of the Rothschild banking dynasty, has announced the appointment of industry veteran Audrey Zau as head of its North Asia business, based out of Hong Kong. The previous head of wealth management in Hong Kong was Alois Muller, who has left to pursue other opportunities, this publication was told by the organisation.
In the role, Zau will report to Richard Martin, chief operating officer of Rothschild’s wealth management and trust business, the firm said in a statement.
Zau has worked in the Hong Kong private banking industry for more than 20 years. Most recently she was head of wealth management for North Asia at BHI Investment Advisors, having previously spent 15 years as a senior director at HSBC.
Rothschild’s Wealth Management business has €21.6 billion ($24.2 billion) in assets under management; clients have an average of €5 million in investable assets.
