EFG Bank Appoints Three Senior Asia-Pacific Figures
The bank, part of the EFG International group listed in Zurich, is expanding its business in the Asia region.
EFG Bank has made three senior hires for its Asia-Pacific business.
Christina Wong has joined the bank as a senior client partner based in Hong Kong. Jane Li has been named as the new market head for Greater China (“ultra clients”) and Ian Campbell has been named as the new regional head of credit and head of risk for Hong Kong.
Their hires take effect immediately.
Wong has two decades of industry experience, most recently serving as managing director, cluster head and expert relationship manager at Credit Suisse in Hong Kong. Prior to that, Wong held senior posts at Deutsche Bank and Hang Seng Bank. In her new role, she will report to David Louie, CEO, Hong Kong branch, and head of North Asia, and in his interim role as market group head for Greater China (“ultra clients”).
Li has almost two decades of industry experience and understanding of the Greater China market. Most recently, Li served as executive director of the China team at Credit Suisse and before that she worked for UBS and China Minsheng Bank.
Campbell also reports to Louie and to Francoise Galdemar, regional chief risk officer, regionally in Asia. Campbell has almost 20 years of industry experience with a particular focus on risk management, including tenures at Credit Suisse and UBS.
