EFG Bank Adds To Hong Kong Footprint

The private bank has brought in a number of senior figures from banks to its Hong Kong operations.

EFG Bank has appointed a number of figures to join its Hong Kong branch. 

Seamus Yin has been named as market group head – Hong Kong and China, “Ultra Clients.” In addition, Miao Miao and Lianghan Chen have been named team heads and client relationship officers, respectively, both reporting directly to Yin. 

Yin, who has more than a decade of experience in the sector, was previously managing director, global market manager of mainland China offshore – South and West, at Citi Private Bank in Hong Kong. Prior to this, Yin worked at JP Morgan Private Bank in Hong Kong. 

Miao and Chen have worked at Citi Private Bank. Miao was previously a director and team head at Citi Private Bank.

Chen was most recently a director and team head at Citi Private Bank. Prior to that, he held senior positions at JP Morgan Chase Private Bank in Hong Kong.

Other additions include CROs Jack Wu, Ruby Chen and Savannah Sun who are also senior veterans in the industry.
