A director at Credit Suisse in Singapore, who has worked with the Zurich-listed lender for just over a decade, is joining United Overseas Bank as market head for north Asia, this publication can exclusively report.

Vincent Ming starts in his new role today.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Ming has worked at Credit Suisse since January 2007. His most recent job title there was director, private banking, Greater China market.

From January 1997 to December 2001, he was executive vice president and director at IQChina Technology, a firm based in Taipei City, Taiwan. From June 1989 to January 1997, he was EVP at KPMG-Tait Management Consulting.

This report follows another exclusive by WealthBriefingAsia, which in late November 2016 reported that former DBS Private Bank director Angeline Chong joined UOB Private Bank as executive director, market head for Singapore. Chong had been at DBS Private Bank from October 2010.
