Duncan Lawrie Private Banking has made a number of new hires and promotions at its London office.

John Hilson, the firm’s UK business development manager, has been promoted to regional director of London and will oversee the London private banking team.  

James Brooks joins as senior private banker from Adam & Co, where he spent 10 years as an associate director, while Samantha Cuthbert joins as a private banker from Barclays Wealth.

In addition, Jerric Alcoran and Penny Dashfield join the team as private banking assistants.

Stephen Buckland, senior private banker at Duncan Lawrie since 2005, has relocated from the Kent office to London.
