US-based investments and technology firm SEI has won a new client for one of its wealth platform offerings, a deal covering about $2.9 billion in assets under management.

Rockland Trust Investment Management Group will adopt the SEI Wealth PlatformSM to modernize the user experience. The platform covers front-, middle- and back-office services. 

Rockland Trust IMG will migrate about $2.9 billion in AuM and $3.2 billion in total assets from SEI's legacy platform, TRUST 3000®, to the new platform in the summer of next year. 

Since launching the new platform in 2013, some 24 clients have signed up to it, including 16 private banks which have installed it, and a further eight in the process of implementing it.
