Digital Digest: The Latest Tech News – Revolut's Wealth Play – Report

The latest technology news in the wealth management sector from around the world.

Revolut
UK-based fintech Revolut is planning to form a private markets team to expand its wealth management services, Bloomberg has reported.

The firm is seeking asset managers, junior investment bankers or private capital advisors to help develop private market fund investment options for its users.

Revolut provides its nearly 70 million users with access to US and European equity trading through its app, the report said.

In January this year, Revolut introduced its robo-advisor service in Singapore to facilitate automated investing. This service is designed to simplify the investment process for customers by providing a customised portfolio management solution.

Revolut rolled out British blue-chips after gaining its UK trading licence in November 2024.

The fintech declined to comment to WealthBriefing when contacted about the report.
