Futu Securities International (Hong Kong) a tech-driven
digital brokerage and wealth management platform together with
global asset manager Franklin
Templeton will launch three risk-based model portfolios,
engineered by the Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions group,
with various risk levels to fulfill clients’ investment needs and
risk appetites.
Futu. it will strengthen its relationship with Franklin Templeton to support the buildout of investment solutions on Futu’s digital platform for Hong Kong investors, the firm said in a statement this week.
Futu first rolled out its mutual fund business in 2019 to expand its client base and diversify its business, the firm added. Franklin Templeton has worked with Futu to deliver a variety of investment solutions since the beginning of the arrangement two years ago.
Welcoming the move, Steve Zeng, head of Global Strategy and Wealth Management at Futu Holdings, said: “We are pleased to partner with Franklin Templeton, one of the largest asset managers globally, in introducing a suite of model portfolios which leverages Franklin Templeton’s proven expertise in managing capital and risks to meet investor needs for returns at various risk levels.
