Deutsche Bank Sells Registar Services Business To Sydney Firm

Deutsche Bank offloads its registrar services arm to Sydney-based Link Market Services.
Germany's Deutsche Bank has agreed to sell its wholly-owned registar services business to Sydney-based share registry provider Link Market Services.
Under the terms of the deal, Link will acquire 100 per cent of GmbH, subject to the requisite approvals. Registrar services is part of Deutsche Bank's global transaction banking division. GmbH is based in Eschborn near Frankfurt, with core services including share register administration, annual general meeting mailing and tabulation and shareholder analytics.
Link Group is active in Australia, New Zealand, India and South Africa, with a sister company operating in the US and Canada. In Australia alone, it manages 4.5 million accounts.
