Deutsche Bank’s Private Bank Boosts South-East Asia BusinessÂ
All of the new hires are based in Singapore, the German bank says.
Deutsche Bank has appointed Ted Lim as managing director and cluster head for Southeast Asia.
Separately, in September Jean Koh joined as a vice president, also reporting to Eleanor Lam, one of the market heads of SEA. Lim and Koh are the latest to join the SEA coverage team at the bank, after Ellyn Alamsjah who joined in August as managing director, and Lulu Toligi and Sam Toh who had joined as directors.
All five new relationship managers are based in Singapore.
Lim will be responsible for managing and acquiring the private and corporate portfolios of ultra-high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and their families in the region. He has more than 16 years of industry experience, most recently at Credit Suisse where he was an expert relationship manager. Prior to that, he spent more than four years at BNP Paribas. Lim has also worked for American Express Bank and ABN Amro Bank.
Koh, a relationship manager, has nine years of wealth management experience.
Also joining with more than 16 years of wealth management experience, Ellyn Alamsjah will be responsible for providing succession planning strategies, investments and portfolio construction solutions, and exploring one-bank opportunities to meet with their needs. Prior to that, she worked with Credit Suisse, UBS, and was the group chief financial officer for Delifrance Asia.
Toligi joined with 23 years of wealth management experience. She had been a relationship manager for the Indonesia market since 2005. Toh has 18 years of wealth management experience.
