Deutsche's Private Bank Adds To Global South Asia, Africa Team

The private banking arm of Deutsche Bank has made two senior appointments for sectors such as the Indian sub-continent, Asia and Middle East.
The private banking arm of Deutsche Bank has appointed two senior figures to join its Global South Asia and Africa team.
The appointments were outlined in a memo from Rajesh Mahadevan,
head of Global South Asia and Africa at the private bank and seen
by this news service.
Ravi Manot (pictured below), previously from Julius
Baer, is joining the Germany-headquartered lender
as managing director and senior relationship manager. He brings
more than two decades’ experience in managing Indian
sub-continent clients across Asia and the Middle East. Manot
started his career with ABN AMRO in India in 2003 and, over the
years, he has worked with other private banks such as Coutts and
BSI private bank.

In the second appointment, former UBS figure Naushad Khan (pictured below) has joined as director and RM. Khan has been managing client relationships across Asia and Middle East for more than 20 years.
Prior to joining UBS, Khan worked with other global and boutique private banks such as Citibank, ANZ and EFG Private Bank.

They will both report to Puneesh Nayar (pictured below). Nayar, MD, who is market head in Singapore. joined the bank in August last year.
