DeAWM Expands West Coast Private Banking Team

Deutsche Bank has made two senior hires from JP Morgan as the firm rounds out its investment solutions team.

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management has recruited Richard Ward and Matthew Sullivan to lead its investment solutions business for the West Coast private bank.

Based in Los Angeles, Ward is a director and Sullivan is an assistant vice president, both reporting directly to Todd Stevens, head of the investment solutions group in the Americas, and regionally to Lee Hutter, head of wealth management for the West Coast.

Ward spent the past five years at JP Morgan Private Bank as an executive director and global investment specialist in Los Angeles. Before that, he was a SVP and investment counselor at Citigroup. Sullivan also joins from JP Morgan Private Bank, where he was an associate.

“We are focused on strategically building out the investment capabilities of our private bank to meet the sophisticated and evolving needs of our ultra high net worth clients,” said Stevens.
