Gerhard Lohmann has left his post as chief operating officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Credit Suisse Asset Management, WealthBriefing understands.

Lohmann, who was also a member of the division’s management committee, is reportedly to join a European insurer, although further details have yet to emerge.

In other recent news at Credit Suisse, chief information officer Karl Landert stepped down from the firm's executive board earlier this week.
