Credit Suisse Appoints Senior Leader In Greater China Private Banking Business

Credit Suisse has appointed Angie Ma as managing director, sector head and deputy market leader fro Great China.
Credit Suisse has appointed Angie Ma as managing director, sector head and deputy market leader for Great China, the Zurich-listed bank has announced.
She is based in Hong Kong and reports to Jimmy Lee, Greater China market leader, it said in a statement.
She will oversee and develop a cluster of team leaders and relationship managers in the role and drive development of the Greater China private banking strategy, the firm said.
With close to 20 years of experience in the industry Ma joined Credit Suisse from UBS, where she was a managing director and deputy regional market manager for the China market. Prior to UBS, she spent more than 10 years with Merrill Lynch’s global private client group in Hong Kong, Singapore and New York.
In the past nine months, several senior bankers have joined Credit Suisse’s Private Banking Greater China franchise in Hong Kong.
