City National Bank Gears Up For East Coast Growth

City National Bank has made three senior hires from Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and UBS to help deepen its East Coast footprint.

City National Bank, the US private and business bank, has hired three wealth advisors to reinforce its East Coast business.

Anthony Savino has joined as a senior vice president and senior private banker from Morgan Stanley; Alan Wolberg has joined as a senior vice president and senior wealth planner from Bank of America Merrill Lynch; and Carolyn Finer has joined as a private investment consultant from UBS Financial Services.

“Our East Coast presence is a huge focus at City National Bank, and growth here is a primary goal,” said Scott Witter, senior vice president and team leader of private client services in New York.

City National set up shop in New York in 2002, primarily to serve entertainment clients, and now works with wealthy families, non-profits and professional services firms throughout the region.
